First of all I apoligize for the lack of posts lately! Life with a baby is busier than I thought it would be. Excuses aside, Jackson is growing like a man! He is at least 14 lbs I think (based on my weight alone and then with him on the scale with me). He is almost a whole pound bigger than I was at his age, which says a lot if you've ever seen baby pics of me! He is way bigger than Curtis was at this age, but that's not really a fair comparison.
In the past couple of weeks he has developed what Curtis and I like to call "the poof". It is something to behold and is so funny! It can't be controlled and we are loving it. Here is what we mean:
In the past week he has started smiling too. It is so sweet and something I've been looking forward to. It's not a trick we can get him to do yet but is super cute when he does!
(this outfit was Curtis' when he was young!)
In the past week two important people to us have celebrated birthdays
Happy Birthday Rach - it's your last to really celebrate for a while!
And Los - Happy Birthday! We still love you and are proud of you even though you skipped class. Don't take after me, take after Dad and Lauren!

He is so cute! I am jealous of all his hair...Max barely has any at all! Even though he wasn't as big as the "man baby," (a mere 9lbs), he probably weighs 14 lbs, too! I love big babies! I am glad that he is doing well and that you are adjusting!
Take care!

Of course Curtis wore that on his first day at school...
