9 Months Old

I can hardly believe this little baby is 9 months old! Look how much he's changed in 9 months:

He is such a sweet, happy baby now! Haha - not that he wasn't before but it's just more and more evident these days. By the way, we used this picture to enter him into the GMA/Babytalk Magazine cover baby contest. He's old enough for this one so we'll see!! Okay back to the Man - I think he's about 23.5 lbs and around 31 inches long. He hasn't gotten in for his 9 month appt yet so specific stats will have to wait until the end of may. His hair is really long, and getting lighter, but I don't want to cut it yet! He has 4 teeth and actually bit something today! He is into everything and lives up to his busy bee baby nickname. He's definatly got a temper but it doesn't come out that often. When it does he puts his little chunky hands on his hips and lets it rip! He is eating well and there's nothing he doesn't like - which I'm glad for! He is not crawling, only pushing himself backwards when he is on his stomach. He is however pulling up on things, including his crib. We had to lower the mattress this weekend. It's looking like he'll walk before crawling. He's almost too tall for his exersaucer, which is sad because he loves it! This weekend we put up the swing and jumperoo for good. He's too big for both. The weather here is getting nice so he's loving being outside again, just like when he was a new baby. Just like his daddy, he's proving to be a well dressed little baby due to some very generous grandparents! Although on a sad note, he has now grown out of our favorite Monkey Man outfit (pictured in the easter post). He's in 18 month clothes with the exception of a few pairs of pants. He's long waisted so all of his tops fit and his pants are a little long. Here are more pics of our monkey man:

Easter '09

Again I need to apologize for going to long in between posts! What can I say - I'm a slacker. Actually firefox would let us upload pics because they were too big. So I had to go and shrink them all. Anyways, Easter was great! It was a beautiful day and Man was looking cute! Mom, dad and Carlos were here and Martha and Warren came that evening (more on Hotel Callaway guests later!). Church was so great as usual - He has risen indeed! We are so thankful to be able to serve a risen Lord! It's amazing how it seems every year I need to be reminded of how powerful that is and how I should be living my life to reflect that.

Below are pics of First Baptist's Easter Egg Hunt. This is Man's good friend Mary Elise. They were chillin' in the wet grass together playing with their eggs.

No hair cut comments please! I don't want to until the bald spot grows out a little more. Yes he STILL has the bald spot! (more on 9 month old Man later too!)
